Since a decade now, the software boom has made students to go for the engineering courses in hordes. They take up the bachelor in engineering or bachelor in technology courses in many engineering colleges and even before quick out were absorbed in the software industries and other core industries.

Various companies were hiring students from the colleges directly through the placements. Gradually, as the digit of students quick out from the engineering colleges started to rise, there was a stiff competition. The competitiveness led to the selection of the students from the best colleges or those students who had a higher degree of qualification like the M Tech, or MCA or such master
