Question by : Should I take College Algebra or Contemporary Math for Tech? Math is not my best subject!?
I took college algebra and had to drop! I really need either 1314 which is college algebra or 1333 which is contemporary math for tech? I personally dont know anyone who has took this course but anyone who has please respond!!

If you ever plan on furthering your education College Algebra will help more because it might transfer to a university better.

I took college algebra 3 times at three different schools. It seemed like I just wouldn’t get it..but when I did it was like it all clicked on at once. I managed an A when I finally took it. I was making C and D before.

Find the right math professor. An engaged teacher/professor will make all the difference. Then find a good tutor. I started looking problems up on math sites. (they weren’t available the first time I tried algebra. I put off college for almost 5 years after my first attempt, now I am graduating in two weeks…So I’ve been there. I feel your math pain. But don’t let it get you down.

Just ask around about the professor for math/algebra and see who is most recommended. I swear the guy/gal teaching it makes all the difference sometimes.
