I’m not quite sure what you mean by how much for college and how much for training school.
I’m assuming by “training school” you mean vet school and by college you mean the undergraduate work you do before vet school.
Veterinarians attend 6-8 years of college after high school. The first 2-4 are undergraduate courses. Most students end up with a 4 year bachelor’s degree. As for how much it costs, it will vary greatly depending on where you decide to go and how much aid you qualify for. You can start out at a community college (fairly cheap) and then transfer to a public state school. That’s the cheapest route. There are some students who decide to do their undergraduate work at a private school that costs $ 30K/year for four years. In my opinion, that’s stupid because that’s already $ 120K and you’re only half done.
After you earn your bachelor’s degree and get accepted into vet school (which is very very very difficult), then vet school is 4 years. Once again, the tuition varies based on where you’re attending and whether you’re in-state or out of state. The average in-state cost is around $ 18,000/year and the average out of state cost is around $ 35,000/year.
The average debt for a veterinarian to graduate with is around $ 150-200,000 after everything is done.
