NO they are not. Go online to the Education Dept in Ethiopia and speak with them. Ethiopian is not usually the second language choice. Also, it is a poverty stricken and disease ridden country, and many transfer students feel uncomfortable by what they thought was a modest lifestyle here is oppulance and waste there. College is hard enough, but to be somewhere that the annual income is $ 100 to $ 1,000 a YEAR! Plus the markets are few and far between.
If you have the heart to watch people die everyday while you eat 3x’s a day….reckon in this area it. Live the way they live

  1. Ethio In Ethio AND PROUD ! says:

    Yes, all courses…EXCEPT … languages! )

    Cheers !

P.S. :- Ignore whatever Mystery “Pooh” said up there. There is no language called “Ethiopian.” She’s obviously tripping on something. Addis Ababa University has bent some well-known scientists or cleared the way for them atleast.
There are now plenty of new private colleges around here so you can pick a choice.
And we eat three times a day…much to the chagrin Miss Pooh. You’re still stuck in the 70′s. Go on. Learn before you gab in this area stuff you don’t know. Reckon twice before you speak once…in your case … I’m going to quote a vista from a cute movie
