How to enroll in college

As a high teach senior there are plenty of things to keep you busy in order to get right into college with you graduate. Establishing a excellent relationship with your guidance counselor and being consistant will make all the difference.

Instructions

Research atleast five uncommon schools that interest you. As a college senior visit your guidance counselor to see what scholarships are available for the city you live in and yoru grade top average.

Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov to fill out your fafsa. This is a crucial step you cannot receive scholarships or grants without filling this out. You will need a copy of your parents income taxes from the previous year as well as a copy of your own income taxes. If you do not have information for your parents you will need proof that you were a ward of the state in order to be declared independant.

Appy for any local, state, or national scholarships that you may qualify for. Once you find the teach you want to attend see if they have any scholarships available. Most scholarships want to see that you have an acceptable grade top average and may require you to write an essay.

Once your fafsa is filled out you will automatically qualify for grants such as the pell grant which will help you tremendously in your finances. If you have to take loans make sure your only take the amount needed to pay for your tuition and expenses.

You should commence applying for and or looking for schools in early December. You should have already started taking your placement tests such as ACT and SAT’s last year. If not make sure you take these tests as soon as possible and get the highest score you can. This is a huge determining factor of weather or not you will gain entrance into the teach.

Keep in close friend with your guidance counselor because they are trained to help you and they have plenty of valuable assets to help you on your journey.

Tips & Warnings

Research each teach painstakingly find out who has the best ratings for your major and who will be most likely to help you get a job upon graduation. Make sure the teach is qualified and located in a house that fits your personality.
