Well I dropped out of my college computer course because the outline of the class was given out and I already knew how to do every single thing on it. Most people said they were afraid to even open up their computer case. So I have no degree but I can build custom computers, upgrade, repair hardware, reformatt, do software stuff and all that, have built quite a few for friends and managed my moms office computers. So I just started applying to places as a computer tech and I’m just wondering what I can possibly earn with no degree? When it comes to the desired salary question I’m kind of stuck, I don’t want to ask for too much and not get hired because they think I’m not competent enough and am asking for too much pay.

When I started I was making about 25,000CDN a year. I had only my high school education and two years of university (I had eventually dropped out).
