Apollo College — School of Nursing. Is it good?

Question by janie: Apollo College — School of Nursing. Is it good?
I am almost finished with my prerequisite classes to enter a Nursing Program either thru community college or a private school. It’s cheaper to go to a community college but there is a 2.5 year waiting list and no waiting at Apollo. But I’d like to get some real feedback from industry professionals as far as whether Apollo is recognized as a “good” school or not and if there is a difference in starting pay for RN’s with a private school vs public school education.

. I took a look at their web site and cannot find out a thing about whether or not they are accredited.

Rather than getting opinions from us which may or may not be accurate, why don’t you call the director of nursing at your local hospital and ask her if she could find some time in her schedule to talk to you, in person.
